Have you ever wished someone would answer your big questions about faith? Do you ever feel a little lost and wished life came with a practical handbook? Do you want to start taking your faith seriously and learning to live it authentically? Welcome to Biblical Perspectives 10, where we will cover all of this and more. This year, we aim to provide you a safe, welcoming space where you can feel free to wrestle through issues of faith, be authentic about your faith journey, and where we can journey alongside you to support you spiritually and emotionally.
Students may start to wrestle with doubts about their faith and/or make the shift from a "Christianity" imposed on them by school, church and parents, towards a faith that is their own. They need a safe place to bring up questions and find answers without fear of judgment, and to learn tools and practices that can help support them in their faith. Through the Apologetics 1 course, students will have opportunity to tackle 5 of life’s biggest questions and equip them to confidently discuss their faith. Additionally, this course offers tools to help students make wise decisions, through an in-depth study of Wisdom Literature from Scripture and different cultures.
Finally, this course introduces spiritual disciplines in depth and begins to open up new means to connect with God in their own quiet time - and this year we focus on the medium of prayer. Our deep hope is that students will bravely raise their doubts and questions and learn to seek and find answers.
